Boogie Nights is a monthly funky house music party at The Starline with residents Rick Boogie and Geoff Kramer. For the past several years Boogie Nights has been keeping it alive by bringing local or out-of-town guest DJs to play with them. For example, last month they brought well-known DJ M3 to Fresno, and this month they’ve invited local DJs Roman and Adrian M.
Last August they introduced the Fresno house scene to LA deejay Sami T. As luck would have it, Sami T stayed in town for a party at Thaiphoon the following evening, and it was there that we had a chance to meet him. This all led to a nite grooves party with Sami T and P-rez last November.
Tonight we’re going to be checking out our friends at Boogie Nights and then tomorrow we’re going be nite groovin’ again w/ Sami T & P-rez.
