have your social calendar in hand when you scroll thru POST NO BILLS.
this is where the fun starts!

It's convenient to be able to go to one place to get all your upcoming event information in one view. While there a lot of different electronic forums where you can view upcoming events, you must click through to each event plus you don't find the breath of events that you find in PNB. In other words, PNB offers a "one-stop shop" where there is a "bill" for everyone! (Yeah, Mike doesn't want anyone to feel left out...lol). But more than that it informs readers about upcoming events that they would like to attend but may not be actively searching for.
Event promotion and audience development is very labor-intensive and can be quite expensive. Unless you are a major act, ones promotion budget may be too small to even if mention. This is because almost all of your budget goes to paying for the artist and sound/equipment/sets. So for anyone promoting an event, sending a link to Mike to post on PNB allows him or her to systematically reach readers of the fresnobeehive.
Mike's PNB program doesn't just help readers plan their social calendar but it also provides readers make planning decisions by giving them choices. Think Law of Diminishing Marginal Utility.
Simultaneously, it also supports event promoter efforts to the extent that these Club Bills contain only the most relevant information readers need to make decisions about which events they want to attend.
For example, a website address allows the reader to access addtional information ranging from artist bios/reviews to a complete list of upcoming shows, photo albums to free artist downloads. Also, a complete event venue address with zip code that allows folks to obtain venue distance and driving directions.
Yeah, Mike do everything for us but he certainly helps spread the word for those of us with tiny promotion budgets! :)
