Good thing Roman Polanski is banned from the country
Yesterday, in a post about Lindsay Lohan, I made a reference to Ali Lohan, Lindsay's 13-year old sister. I was unusually harsh on the child, and it may have looked like I was hitting below the belt. I was. Here's why.
Us magazine has posted a side-by-side comparison of Lindsay at the age of 13 with Ali at the age of 13. Keeping in mind that Ali is Lindsay's sister and Dina's daughter, there is no chance this child isn't going to grow up to be the carbon copy of her role models.
Lindsay is the one on the left, Ali on the right. And remember, she's 13.

My question would be how much makeup, hair, lighting and photochopping was done to the image to make her look like every other magazine model? The pouty lip *could* be real, *could* be injection, or it *could* could be some clever image filtering and/or cloning.

She looks about 25 to 30 years old. Gosh she must be aging really fast. What happens when she is 25 or 30?

Heather, there is no way that girl is 13. The birth certificate has to be forged ... either that, or this girl is smoking tons of cigarettes to age this much.

Dear Heather,
When I read your blog titled, “Good thing Roman Polanski is banned from the country,” I was disgusted. I remember looking at the picture and exclaiming “She is not thirteen!” I showed it to my friends and they agreed. When I calmed down I realized that this should not be a surprise.
The entertainment industry has changed since the days of Shirley Temple and her cute curls. Thirteen is probably 18 in Hollywood years. Sex appeal and money are more important than talent. If you are not a very talented actor to begin with looks are all you can depend on.
I think the media should show these comparisons more often to drive the point home. If we as a society are tired of seeing our little sisters act as if they are 18, or see them wear make up as if they are going to a night club, we need to say enough is enough.
Hollywood needs to return to the days when they looked for talent, as a society we need to encourage young women to enjoy their childhood.
