arrow The "Lost" D.U.I. curse gears up for season 4

The latest celebrity D.U.I. bums me out.

Okay, of course they all bum me out, but this one really makes me sad because it's Daniel Dae Kim, also known as Gavin Park from my second favorite television show ever, "Angel", and also known as Jin on "Lost."

Kim is the latest in a long list of "Lost" actors who have been busted for driving-related offenses while filming the series in Hawaii: Michelle Rodriguez (who played Ana Lucia) was busted in April 2006 and Cynthia Watros (who played Libby) was busted in January 2006. Also in 2006, former cast member Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Mr. Eko) was arrested for driving without a license.

Here's my theory on what's happening in Hawaii: the cast members who don't get as much face time as Kate, Jack and Sawyer are keeping busy by playing one of the many "Lost" drinking games that are around:

Every time Hurley says "dude" take a drink.
Every time Locke makes you want to punch him, take a drink.
Every time the word "fuselage" finds its way into the dialogue, take a drink.
And my personal favorite: Every time Matthew "Bobblehead" Fox bobs his head up and down while trying to make a point, take two drinks.

After a day of watching Fox bob and weave around the set like a parrot looking for a cracker, I'd be drunk, too. Only I'd hire one of those hot fire-breathers in the loincloths to drive my drunk ass from island to island. (Full disclosure: I've been playing the "Lost" drinking game while writing this post. I mean, drive from island to island? Of course I'd have to get into a plane's fuselage and fly from island to island. Ha. That's another drink!)

Wait. What was I saying? Don't drink and drive, kids. And don't watch "Lost," either, because it sucks.

Comments:

L O S T doesn't suck. Anyways, the fans of the show can now prepare for Jin's demise in the upcoming season. You get pulled over by the cops in Hawaii and you're tenure on the show is done. Just ask the rest of them.
