At least she didn't say, "Don't you know who I am?!?"
Channel 47 anchor arrested in DUI case
"Breath tests for Susie Frankeberger, 44, a noon anchorwoman on KGPE, Channel 47, showed a blood-alcohol content of 0.32% and 0.31% when she was arrested Sunday night in north Fresno, said Jeff Cardinale, a police spokesman. The legal blood-alcohol level in California is 0.08%."

Comments:
Holy crap.
that's near comatose levels.

Yeah, seriously. People have died with that blood alcohol level before.

She was found asleep in her car. I guess she finally watched her own station's newscasts.
Kidding....It's really Channel 24 that'll do that to 'ya.

i wonder if she'll be let go, like so many other news anchors when they've hit the news blotter.

""She is also the On Your Side "Health & Family Safety" Reporter""
That cracked me up when I read that in her bio. I think she'll get canned. If that crazy woman beater can get canned from the channel 26 primetime news, this chick can get canned for DUI. I mean come on, she had her kids in the car with her. Not only should she get punished, but the people throwing the party should get punished too. I know that won't happen, but come on. Was everyone too drunk to realize this lady was getting into a car with her kids. Yuppies think nothing can ever happen to them.

.32, that is a party. maybe not so much for driving tho.

So you think Attny Capitan will be her defense attorney now? Next time I hear him sing the Susie Frankenberger song, it will have a new sound to it LOL.
Her poor kids! Imagine being in the car while your mom is passed out at the wheel and the car is still moving??!! And who the hell throws that kind of a party on a Tuesday night?!
Posted by: Sexx Sinn Fan at September 12, 2007 11:15 PM
that's enough to get four people drunk.

I can't imagine how tramatic it was for those children to see and experience all that. I know the kid's dad and he has been trying to get custody for YEARS, if the judge doesn't give it to him now, there is not hope for humanity.

I think its sad that shortly after the incident someone went to wikipedia and entered her name and the only thing they had to say about her was that she was arrested for driving drunk (for which they gave credit to the Bee). That unfortunate incident is NOT the sum of her life.

It makes me sad that she would even get in the car in the first place but more that she had her kids in the car. She could have killed her family and mine by that stupid choice she nade. I think she should pay for her crime and have to go into the schools for community service about drunk driving and in the secondary schools to tell the kids they should never get into a car with anyone that has been drinking even if it is their parents. A very public apology should be given by her and the people that served alcohol at the party. Hopefully they will be tougher on her than they are in Hollywood,

Be careful what you say about that "crazy woman beater from 26". I used to work with him. Remember that SHE ended up dropping ALL charges. You really should read the whole story and not just pass judgement.
Glad the kids are OK. No friends at THAT party. Still am amazed that they would let her get into the car...no even CONSIDERING that she was loading two kids in there with her. Surely she was drunk enough that they could have kept the kids and let her go on her merry way. If she threw a fit there, they could have called the police from the party.
Then again...how many people nowadays are big enough to be the "party poopers".

mdub420. You stated- "Yuppies think that nothing can ever happen to them"? Grow up. Things happen to Low Life's as well as Princess Diana types. Sober Suzie I'm sure feels lower than a rattle snakes belly right about now. Hopefully she will get her issues addressed and try and make something of her life. She and her children are very lucky nothing more serious happened. Best of luck to her and her recovery.

I find it frustrating that people dont seem to care that although Susie is a public figure she is also just a normal woman. Her driving under the influence was a bad decision, however it does not define who she is as a person. I am confident that Suzie is taking the proper avenues necessary to rehabilitate herself. She is not an unfit mother, she did the same thing that so many parents have done, they just never got caught. I in no way am justifying Suzies choice to drink and drive with her children in the car, however she has been punished enough. She is a person who made a mistake, not a monster. Just a reminder that those who live in glass houses should not throw stones, who are any of you to judge? We have all had moments where our decision making skills are not what they should be. It is unfortunate that because of her status as a pubic figure that she is so harshy and unfairly judged and scrutinized.

WHERE IS SUSIE FRANKEBERGER NOW? I REALLY LIKED HER, AND I REALLY WISH TO KNOW HOW SHE IS DOING. I HAD TALKED WITH HER BEFORE THIS INCIDENT, AND REALLY THOUGHT SHE WAS A CLASS PROFESSIONAL. IN MY EYES, SHE STILL IS. I APPRECIATE ANY UPDATE. THANK YOU.
