If I could, I'd live in a Wes Anderson movie
Here's the thing, and there is really no getting around it: Wes Anderson is wonderful.
As a writer and director, I mean. I have never met the man, but I have spent enough time with his films to know that I want more Wes Anderson in the world.
Luckily, I will soon be getting my wish. The trailer for his next film, The Darjeeling Limited, has been released, and I couldn't be happier. If nothing else, I will see this movie simply for the pleasure of seeing Jason Schwartzman with a mustache.
The movie doesn't come out until January, but in the meantime, I will bide my time with Bottle Rocket, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and the ridiculously awesome Rushmore. I recommend them all to anyone who hasn't seen them. No, really. Put Rushmore in your Netflix queue right this minute.
Watch the trailer for The Darjeeling Limited here. And, just because, watch Wes Anderson's American Express commercial after the jump.

You are so right Hot Heather: Wes is the sh*%! Can't wait for the new one. I thought Steve Z missed the mark a bit...but I still have the DVD so what does that tell you.?...I dunno.

Mikey,
I felt the same way about The Life Aquatic. I think the absence of Owen Wilson (as writer) contributed to the movie lacking the heart of Rushmore and The Royal Tenenbaums... or something. I'm not a film critic, by any means.
But it was lacking something. Still - better than 87% of the movies out there.

Owen Wilson saying he flew for "Air Kentucky" is comedic genius in itself. The subtlety of Aquatic's humor is definitely lost on some, but shouldn't be by you guys. Watch it again.
"Do the interns all get Glocks? No they have to share one."
I rest my case.
