Mike Oz What are you doing today?
Lots happening in Fresno today, between a bunch of concerts and ArtHop. Below is the rundown. Where are you going to be?
1. Birthday Bash' 07 at Warnors Theatre: Queens of the Stone Age, Sum 41 and Plain White T's perform for 104.1's big birthday show. 6 p.m. $25. [ Tickets ]
2. ArtHop: Lots of stops as always. Check out the new ArtHop web site for details. Personally, I'd recommend the "Fridge Worthy" show. Various times. Free.
3. Fulton Plaza Thursdays at the Fulton Mall: Trey Tosh and The Fusion Porn perform. 5:30 p.m. Free.
4. DMBQ at Howie and Son's: Japanese rockers who made a habit of hitting the Valley are back again. 9:30 p.m. $5.
5. Nekromantix at The Belmont: Psychobilly from Denmark, along with Left Alone, Heart Attacks and Static Thought. 6:30 p.m. $12. [ Tickets ]
6. Louie Romero y su Grupo Mazacote at Starline: A 10-piece live salsa, courtesy of Starline Salsa Club. 10 p.m. $12-$15.
7. Post ArtHop at Tokyo Garden: The usual indie rock orgy, featuring Rademacher, L.A. band The Pity Party (right) and Seattle group Joy Wants Eternity. 9:30 p.m. $3.
8. Something else?
Personally, I have a 6 a.m. flight to Denver tomorrow, so it's not gonna be a late night for me. I'd realy like to hit Fulton Plaza Thursdays and that "Fridge Worthy" show, but we'll see.
