arrow Indiana Jones still rocking the fedora

20070621.jpgI was excited when I heard late last year that there was finally going to be a fourth Indiana Jones movie.

So maybe Harrison Ford is not the spring chicken he was back in the day. And yeah, the idea of a 64-year old adventurer-archaeologist frantically pushing his walker out of the path of a giant rolling boulder doesn't exactly spell "blockbuster." But I still believed in Indy, knowing that even if the movie sucks, I'd like it strictly for nostalgia's sake.

This week, my initial excitement seems a little more justified. A still shot of Harrison on the set of the movie in full Indiana Jones gear was released, and you know what? AARP be damned - Indy looks good. No steroids or weird face lifts for this guy.

I'm going to go ahead and predict right now that Indy kicks Rambo's and John McClane's asses in the Old Codger Battle of the Box Office. Anyone wanna take that bet?

I saw that same picture and thought the same thing. I personally can't wait to see the fourth one either. GOOOO Harrison...

Thanks for the pic, Heather!

I loves me some Indy, but as a super-fan of "Temple of Doom" I hold out hope for a return of my favorite Vietnamese actor, Short Round (aka Data of "Goonies" fame)...at least a cameo. Is it too much to ask?
