arrow BEEHIVE LIVE: Evening Eclectic En Vivo

Saturday's night Evening Eclectic En Vivo concert at Crossroads, a benefit for KFSR, was one of the best local shows I've been to in a while. Each performance was great. The crowd was lively (and massive). And the whole atmosphere was electric.

Memo to KFSR: Keep doing this. The different cross-sections of Fresno in attendance were great. It was scene-uniting, introducing people to new bands, bringing new folks to Crossroads and putting bands that probably wouldn't otherwise play together on one show.

I recorded one song from each of the four performers, which you can watch here, starting with headliner Brazzaville. The Barcelona-based band was playing only one of three U.S. shows.

KFSR has people like Mike Oz, and Missy T...and YOU to thank for this show being such a huge success. This was the best show that I HAVE BEEN TO in a while too.

For the record....there WILL be more En Vivo shows. I'd like to keep the formula of having ONE band that's a 'big" name and put them together with three other local acts that SHOULD be world famous.

I created Evening Eclectic En Vivo to SHOW those in charge at 90.7 KFSR that OUR LISTENERS VALUE THE ECLECTIC FORMAT. It was a physical representation of what we do on our airwaves......bringing all genres together to be appreciated by ALL PEOPLE no matter their age or "demographic."

Look for another En Vivo in late Sept...more details to come!!!

YES! I agree with Will...great new feature, lets us check out bands we've never heard of (which for me is a ton).

Thanks!
