A world of niches
In July, The Bee invited a group of local bloggers to talk to its employees about blogs. Bee copy editor Will Albritton put together this video on some of the lessons he learned and points he's pondering after watching the panel. You can also watch more video of paleoblogger Chris Pirillo giving his thoughts on blogging, as well as additional footage from the panel. (Free RealPlayer plug-in required.)

Comments:
Thanks for the video Matt. I really enjoyed it. I'm inspired to go write some more crap.

Invited blog experts ... LOL, maybe one or two that are close to experts. But you missed bunch of other local blogers.
Your blog panel was a few newbie's and then their was Chrism your only expert.
You people missed jplt.com and linkfilter.net two slash dot type blogs that started in Fresno over 5 years ago.
Blogs that have been here since 2000. You will have to look up jplt.com on the internet archive.org
The BEE, invited a clique of friends, [edited] Bee, your panel was not well rounded.

Do you have to use the Real format? Won't you give some love to QT or Flash Video?
BTW, here's some blog about the Real player: http://jogin.com/weblog/archives/2004/02/29/real_obnoxious

We'd prepped a QT format as well, but it borked on exporting. We'll get it available as time allows.
In the meantime, Real Player is what we have and what we have support from our company for. It's not the best, but it's the best available.
What do ya'll think about video in Flash format? Our site statistics show that more 90 percent of our readers have Flash installed.

What about a windows-media-player-compatible format? I don't have RealPlayer. I uninstalled it after reading their privacy policy a couple years ago.

I agree Rick.
Real Player = adware.
Flash or QT would be great. Windows Media compression is still not up to par with On2 VP6 (Flash video) or the H.264 standard (QT), I think.

Well, installing Real is not worth the trouble just to see the blog panel (not that it wasn't important); if anything, I nearly got tempted to do so just to see what Rick had to say... hehehhe...

Using credit cards wisely is not an easy thing. One should choose a card for his spending preferences and know how to make payments so that his credit score will increase and debt reduce. Among web sources for credit card applications and guide to personal finance there is one I like most

Credit cards are great if you can manage your money wisely. I always shop around for credit cards. I’ve figured out that official bank sites are not really helpful because you can’t compare there offers with those of other banks. So now I use
